FOR SALE.  The 1906 Methodist Episcopal Church, commonly known as the “Waterloo Chapel,” is for sale.  This structure was disassembled in 10 panels in November, 2009 and is currently being stored at a site managed by Star Group International.  Overall, it is in good condition.  Go to the Gallery page to see images of the chapel and stained glass windows.  Enjoy watching the video below which provides an overview of the history of the Waterloo Chapel as well as the disassembly process.

Description and Features:

  • Size:  26’W x 36’L, plus a 5’W x 8’L entryway.  Overhang:  18”
  • Disassembled in 10 panels for ease of reassembly
  • Entrance and bell tower (approximate dimensions:  5’W x 8’L x 33’H)
  • Bell (cast iron) – dimensions:  16”H x 27½“W; 2” thick
  • Eight arched stained glass windows in good condition (dimensions: 37”W x 84”H)
  • One over-the-door half circle stained glass window in good condition (dimensions:  33½”H x 63”W)
  • Wood siding
  • Log floor system with partial floor boards
  • Log and frame window and door structures
  • Roof trusses with an 18” overhang
  • Cornerstone with surrounding foundation stones
